This week is filled with surprises from Bollywood, for all the cinema lovers. First is the awaiting for the release of two big ticket films, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’, following which there would be the grand trailer launch of biopic on cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Titled ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, it stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role. This trailer launch will see none other than the Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself, travelling across three cities. He, along with Sushant, will be heading to Delhi, Jalandhar and Mumbai to unveil this trailer in the presence of their fans. But the makers are yet to finalise the venues in the three cities where Dhoni will launch this much-awaited trailer.
Confirming about this exciting travel trailer launch plan, director Neeraj Pandey said, “Dhoni is a sensation across the country. He has a huge fan following, and what better way to launch the trailer than with the fans across various cities. We are now to take the very first glimpses of ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’ for audiences in Jalandhar, Delhi and Mumbai over two days.”
We must say that it’s a double whammy for the ‘A Wednesday’ helmer who is also awaiting the release of his home production film ‘Rustom’ on Friday.
Talking about ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, this is one of the toughest roles for the ‘Kai Po Che’ actor who has undergone serious training for the role and would be seen donning a hairstyle akin to that of the cricketer.
It also stars Anupam Kher, Bhoomika Chawla, Kiara Advani, Herry Tangri, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles, and is slated to release on September 30, 2016.
