Black Widow Finally Gets Her Own Standalone Marvel Movie

2018 is surely the era for Marvel fans and with this new news it has got the fans more happy. Marvel has been killing it recently with both their movies and TV series, and they’re continuing with the news that they’re at  last finally giving Black Widow her very own motion picture. The character – played by Scarlett Johansson – first hit our screens in 2010 when she showed up in Iron Man 2, preceding highlighting, noticeably in the three Avengers films, yet has never been the included lead.

The fact is about to change since Jac Schaeffer is penning the content for an independent Black Widow motion picture.

Schaeffer’s First Time With Marvel


Schaeffer is best known for Nasty Women, a remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels that stars Anne Hathaway. This is Schaeffer’s first time working with Marvel, however, given that Disney owns Marvel now, and Schaeffer has composed the Disney short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.

Johansson, Now Seasoned Superhero


Johnsson worked in numerous background and supporting roles since 2019 debut, this will be her first-time lead role with Marvel.

Black Window First Appearance


The character of Black Widow showed up in a comic book in 1964, in Tales Of Suspense issue 52, as a non-costumed Russian covert operative.
